Choose the amount for your project
- Standard pontoon: approximately 1 quart.
- Tritoon: approximately 2 quarts.
- Small projects and touch-ups: choose a pint or quart based on the surface area.
- Larger or repeated projects: compare the multi-quart packs.

Application
Complete the preparation and residue-removal steps on the current label. Apply liquid Protectant to clean, dry metal with a clean, white birdseye flatfold cotton cloth, sold separately.
Do not use a trigger spray bottle or garden sprayer for liquid Protectant. These do not atomize it adequately and can cause runs. For a ready-to-use spray format, see Metal Protectant Aerosol and follow its own label. Experienced users considering an automotive spray gun should consult the Protectant FAQ and Product Support first.
Wait 48 hours between coats of liquid Protectant. Do not use the Aerosol recoat timing for liquid Protectant.
Follow the current product label and application guide for coats, drying, safety and maintenance. Aluminum Cleaner is an optional preparation step for suitable oxidized or stained aluminum; it can whiten metal and is not recommended for new aluminum without Product Support guidance.
Common uses
Boats, pontoons, trailers, RVs, wheels, trim and other suitable aluminum, stainless steel, brass, copper, bronze or chrome surfaces. Test first: highly polished surfaces can show a slight rainbow sheen.
