"This stuff works great on my 40 year old aluminum fishing boat. It cleans the oxidation with one coat and minimal scrubbing. I let a section sit for about 10 minutes and then remove. After cleaning, I apply Sharkhide whick keeps the aluminum from oxidizing and adds additional shine. Be prepared to put on your sunglasses after application. I repeat this process every three years."

While I'm excited to get the product, still...

It is not here. You chose Ground Advantage to an Alaska address. Your parcel for just a couple dollars more would have been here in 3-5 days.

I'm a retired Postmaster up here in Alaska and understand the transportation within the Postal Service extremely well.

Ground Advantage travels by Ground between sorting hubs in the 48 states and by Air any distance over 150 miles (give or take). Alaska and Hawaii parcels are stopped at a sorting plant and saved there until the next ocean going barge and tugboat transports the container the Postal Service put it in to the town it's destined for.

Basically, if the parcel arrives a day after the container leaves for the barge, it sits an extra week, then it's about 5 additional days after that until the receiving Post Office opens the doors of that container....

I'll let you know when it gets here. But having worked the Retail side of the front counter for many, many years, your savings of about $1.95 cost me almost 2 weeks extra waiting..

Please respond, I'd like to know if you'd consider using Priority mail for AK & HI instead on forcing customers to wait nearly 2 weeks and asking them to rate their shopping experience before receiving their order..

I hope you understand, this product has the best reviews for my purpose and I hopped it would arrive sooner. But, I'm used to waiting.. I'm married to my 3rd wife. The other two were so very impatient.

We completely understand and share your frustration, Jesse. Simple answer.... Due to the fact that Sharkhide is flammable, it CANNOT go priority. Once the shipment is marked as hazmat the only option is Ground Advantage aka Parcel Select. Sorry for the confusion, it’s simply the only option available to HI or AK.

Much like finding your 3rd wife -- the wait will be worth it! ;)
